Educational Data Content– When you access educational materials, we collect information such as the courses, coursework, labs, workspaces, and tests you’ve begun and completed. Purchases and credits for content; subscriptions; completion certificates; your interactions with instructors, teaching assistants, and other students; and essays, responses to questions, and other materials submitted to complete the course and other requirements.

We gather certain data about your transaction (such as your name and ZIP code) as necessary to finalize your order if you make purchases. Certain payment and billing data, such as your name, credit card details, billing address, and ZIP code, must be provided directly to our payment service providers.

To enable payments we may additionally get limited details from payment service providers, such as the fact that you have a new card and the last four numbers of that card. BioGrademy does not collect or keep sensitive cardholder info such as full credit card numbers or card authentication data for security reasons.

Instructor Payment Data– If you’re an instructor, you can receive money by linking your PayPal, Payoneer, or another payment account to the Services. We collect and utilize certain info when you link a payment account, such as cardholder email address, account ID, physical address, or other data required for us to transfer payments to your account.

If your social media or other online profiles are linked to your BioGrademy account, we may be able to acquire certain information from them. If you use BioGrademy through Facebook or another third-party platform or service, we will request permission to access some information from that account.

We may also share additional information about you (such as your age or gender) if we collect it. Your email address will not be shared with instructors or teaching assistants.

Interacting with other students and professors- Your shared content and profile data may be publicly available, including other students and teachers, based on your choices. Your information (including your identity) may be publicly available if you pose a query to an instructor or teaching assistant.

To Activate Social Media Features- Some social media features in the Services (such as the Facebook Like button) may enable a third-party social media provider to gather information such as your IP address and the site of the Services you’re on, as well as set a cookie to activate the feature.
